Entertainment in Vienna

Sightseeing tours
At first you have to discover the city: You can choose from several guided tours in Vienna. The most famous is called "Walks in Vienna" (Wiener Spaziergänge), in which you can explore the whole city on foot. If you prefer the comfortable way of sightseeing, you can join to one of the Hop On/Hop Off buses in Vienna. Sitting on these buses you can see all the popular places in and around the city. You can have a tour on boat as well. All around the year ships can take you on the Danube Canal, to show you the city in a very spectacular aspect. If you want to discover the city on your own, you can rent a bicycle at one of the rental stations in Vienna.

Prater
This is the amusement park of Vienna, located on the edge of the city. The Prater is a very good place for everyone, who's looking for fun and action in Vienna. The most popular attraction is a the Giant Wheel, which offers a special view to the city.
Schönbrunn Zoo
It belongs to the oldest zoos of the world, it's 250 years old. Beside the well known animals there are special highlights as well: a Chinese Panda couple, a Koala House, a Mexico House, Rain Forest House etc. The zoo is open all year round with different opening hours.
Casino Vienna
Since 1991 the Esterházy Palace has been the home of the Viennese Casino. It was designed by several artists: its interior represents a variety of styles. You can play here roulette or different games, but Casino Vienna is also a very good place for meetings: the Bistro Bar offers you several international specialities.
